Making of the digipak part 5

Using the feedback from the draft album cover I made changes to the front cover of the alum artwork.

In adobe photoshop I mainly used the brush tool to draw and write in my own style to create a hand drawn look to the album cover. The font I drew on to look similar to the graffiti background. I also needed to further imply the main focus of Lottie the lead singer of the band, to do this I used the Lasso tool and cut around her, I then used free transform tool and enlarged her so that she is bigger and more focused than the other band members. This is to see the lead singer to the audience as well as the band.

One of the major changes was to the title on it, the band is what the album cover is selling, the name of the band. So I changed 'The Michelles' to be in big painted font as the main focus. The pink matches with the black and pink theme. I also added the parental advisory sticker which was necessary. the pink boarder matches the same pink in the font. The album name is smaller written below the band name.
